[edit] Current Firmware Version

Please update to the latest firmware revision if any of the Errata effect your operations. Users may want to subscribe to this page to keep up to date with new firmware releases.

  1. Same as 3.0, but fixes Brewbuddy iPhone app problem, firmware display, and Digi16 errata.

  1. Alarm Off doesn't turn off alarm, problem with new auto refresh. Workaround: Press Alarm Off and then reload the page.
  2. Manual Mode temperature association labels incorrect for new 462 temp[4:7]
  3. Process run/stop lights aren't present in Datalog page
  4. Timer count downs don't work in upper processes (4-7)

  1. Experienced issues in Chrome with process config file upload (restore). Please use Firefox for this feature.
  2. Bug prevents Brewbuddy process enables.
  3. Displays 'BCS-462' in Firmware revision on System Settings page, regardless of 460/462.
  4. Digi16 doesn't update

[edit] Brew Buddy Incompatibility

This firmware is currently incompatible with the Brew Buddy(iPhone App), This application is currently being updated, but the apple approval process will make this take a couple of weeks before the brew buddy can support 2.0 version of the firmware. -the Brew Buddy Developer, np0x.

UPDATE: This should be resolved as 2009.12.08...get an update from the app store...

  1. Doesn't properly check for config file compatability. v1.x config files not compatible, if loaded will result in bad settings.
  2. Multiple Digi16's not supported.

Note: v2.0 added some new parameters to the config file to support expansion cards, so v1.x config files are not compatible. See Open Interface for more details.

  1. Authentication Enable updated by config file. This could be a problem if a user loads another user's config file who has this set differently.

  1. Outputs assert ON for 1-2 seconds at bootup.
  2. AutoRefresh defaulted to Off. Should be defaulted On
  3. Can't share config files with other versions (only v1.0).
  4. HTTP port updated by config file. This could be a problem if a user loads another user's config file who has this set differently.
